Vendors in Masaka market have woken up in grief follwining news of their fellow vendors getting an accident which left one dead and eight people critically injured. A trailer number KBD 88Y/ZCB 938I which was carrying matooke vendors from luti market Mbarara failed the driver as he was approaching Masaka market knocking a transformer. One Namanda Rebecca has died in the accident and others have been rushed to Masaka regional referral hospital in critical condition. Survivors allege the driver received bad news that he was cheated by the broker who loaded the matooke from Mbarara and this annoyed him hence loosing it and started driving carelessly hence causing an accident.
