CECM Tourism Mombasa County pays a courtesy call to Uganda consulate in Mombasa, And met with ambassador Mr. Paul Mukumbya. Uganda and Mombasa share a strong partnership in the tourism sector, with the different tourism products offered it compliments each other. We discussed various ways to continue the partnership and also leverage on the upcoming events that will boost tourism between Mombasa and Uganda.
Mr. Paul initiated an upcoming Uganda Kenyan Coast tourism expo to be held in November. The event will foster conversations and strengthen tourism marketing initiatives. In order to market Mombasa, we need to work jointly with the different markets in East Africa and create partnerships that both industries can succeed in getting new visitors into the territories.
