Uganda Bureau of Statistics has released a report on child labor rate now at 40%, youth employment at 17% and highlighted a growth in the informal sector at 90% as of 2021.
Executive Director UBOS Godfrey Nabong says the released statistics are to help address issues affecting the sectors and there for called stake holders to utilize the report for sustainable economic transformation.
