Turkish Ambassador to Uganda Pays Visit to PM Nabbanja

The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has met the Turkish Ambassador to Uganda H.E Mehemet Faith who called on her at the office of the Prime Minister in Kampala today.

The Premier said Uganda values the bilateral relations between the two countries established since 2010.

Turkey and Uganda opened diplomatic missions in Kampala and Ankara in 2011 respectively which has led to improved interactions between the two sister countries and Uganda and Turkey have been enjoying cordial bilateral relations.

On his part Ambassador Mehmet Fatih says that Turkey is ready to further improve bilateral relations with Uganda especially in trade, investments, education, health and defence.

The two agreed that Uganda will optimize benefits from this mutual cooperation through strategic partnerships and effective execution of projects geared towards accelerating socio-economic transformation in the Country.
