The Buganda Kingdom has advised government to prioritize people of Bunyoro to benefit more from oil revenue when Uganda starts to exploit oil that was discovered in Bunyoro. This message was delivered by the Buganda Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga who led the delegation to Bunyoro Kingdom and visiting some places where the oil pipeline is to pass. He was meeting with the delegation from Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom led by Omuhikirwa of Bunyoro Andrew Byakutaga at Bunyoro Kingdom Headquarters in Hoima
