The Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has revealed that the malaria epidemic has gone down in the country from 73 districts last year to now 12 districts that are above the threshold. Aceng noted that the drop has been realized due to a number of government interventions that were deployed to reduce the incidence of Malaria in the districts. Aceng made the remarks while addressing the media and updating the the general public about the ongoing distribution of the Long-Lasting Insecticide treated mosquito Nets (LLINs) across the country.
