The speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among has objected a move by the Forum for Democratic Change Party to replace Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda with Yusuf Nsibambi as the FDC party whip in the 11th Parliament. Recently, the secretary General of FDC Nandala Mafabi wrote to the speaker of the decision to make changes in the FDC whip position. Speaker acted after a petition by nine members of FDC who assert that Nandala Mafabi made an individual decision outside the FDC National Executive Committee.
