The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah is currently meeting the Nakasongola district political leaders and technical officers at the district headquarters ahead of the start of the campaign to mobilise farmers to increase agricultural production, productivity and profitability in greater Luweero Districts.
The Premier is accompanied by the NRM Deputy Secretary General Rose Namayanja, Public service Minister Muruli Mukasa, NRM Vice Chairperson Central region Godfrey Kiwanda, MPS and local leaders.
The campaign, which started in greater Mubende districts will take place in the districts of Nakasongola, Luweero, and Nakaseke Districts from 1st to 3rd September 2023.
It is deigned to facilitate the implementation of the six policy proposals by H.E President Museveni to develop the agricultural sector.
This campaign will bring together
small and large scale farmers, agricultural researchers, farmer associations, agro-input dealers, among others.
