The nine people accused in kidnapping and murdering Susan Magara want court to stay or nullify the proceedings of the trial, on allegations that they were tortured during and after arrest. The accused allege to be tortured by security operatives while at Mbuya, thus forcing them to confess to have committed the offenses against them during the recording of a charge and caution statements at Kira police station.
