Government has been urged to entrust local contractors with major infrastructural projects in the country. This plea comes from Isaac Ibanda, the managing director of Muga Services, a Ugandan construction company. Ibanda’s appeal coincides with Uganda’s preparations to host the Non-Aligned Movement and G-77 Summits, along with China, in January 2024.
