Hon. John Mulimba, Minister of Foreign Affairs /Regional Affairs received copies of credentials of Mr. Savvas Vladimirou, High Commissioner–designate of the Republic of Cyprus with residence in Nairobi. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the presentation of credentials, Mr. Savvas Vladimirou, High Commissioner-designate expressed his commitment to strengthening the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Cyprus and Uganda. He emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields, including agriculture, tourism and education.
In response, Hon. Mulimba, warmly welcomed Mr. SavvasVladimirou, High Commissioner-designate to Uganda and conveyed the Ugandan Government’s readiness to work closely with Cyprus on mutual interests and shared goals. The Minister praised the historical relations between the two Countries and highlighted the potential for further collaboration in diverse fields such as technology, agriculture, and education.
