The Uganda Coffee Roasters Association has urged the government to provide them with funds at minimum interest rates to enhance the value of all coffee products sold on the international market. They noted that selling raw products results in significant financial losses.
Currently, Uganda is one of the leading African producers of Robusta coffee, which is in high demand globally. However, the challenge lies in producing quality products that meet international market standards.
