Uganda is hosting the first African conference of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) at Speke Resort Munyonyo from 22nd to 24th July 2024.
This professional, independent non-profit society is open to anyone interested in the safe and effective use of medicinal products and the effects of drugs on users in Africa.
The conference brings together regulators, researchers, industry representatives, and other stakeholders in pharmacovigilance from across the continent.
Over 300 participants have gathered to discuss issues pertinent to medicine safety. Through its regional and country chapters, ISoP supports the management of specific pharmacovigilance challenges at both the country and regional levels.
