The Ministry of Tourism has contributed UGX 50 million to the organizers of the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon.
The Ministry’s contribution to the annual marathon was handed over by the State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Martin Mugarra, to the Marathon’s Team Lead, Amos Wekesa.
The State Minister praised the organizers for the excellent work done so far.
Hon. Mugarra also received his running kit from the organizers and called upon Ugandans to participate in this internationally certified marathon, scheduled for the 24th of August, 2024, in Kasese.
