Leaders from the Karamoja Sub-region have commended the government for prioritizing the area in its development plans.
The Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Peter Lokeris, highlighted that the restoration of security reflects the government’s commitment to transforming Karamoja.
This acknowledgment comes as President Yoweri Museveni is set to visit the sub-region to promote wealth creation programs.
State Minister for Investment, Evelyn Anite, noted that Karamoja is prepared to warmly receive the President.
