Uganda and CPMIEC Explore Strengthened Defence Cooperation for Enhanced Partnership

The Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs, Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth, emphasized the importance of bolstering business partnerships between Uganda and the China National Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation (CPMIEC). He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from CPMIEC at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Mbuya. The Vice President of CPMIEC, Mr. Yu Tao, expressed gratitude to Hon. Oleru for her efforts in enhancing Uganda-China relations. He noted that their partnership with Uganda began over 14 years ago and expressed optimism about entering a new phase of cooperation with the Ugandan government.
