Kansai Plascon Adds Color to Uganda’s Holi Festival 2025

Kampala burst into a kaleidoscope of colors as hundreds gathered at the KCCA Grounds to celebrate Holi Festival 2025. Organized by the Rajasthani Association and the Indian Association of Uganda in partnership with the Indian High Commission, the event was a vibrant display of culture, unity, and joy.

Kansai Plascon, a key sponsor, played a central role in the celebrations, which marked the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Revelers enthusiastically threw colored powders, splashed water, and danced to traditional Indian music, fully embracing the festival’s spirit of renewal and togetherness.

The festivities also featured a rich array of Indian delicacies, live music performances, and cultural showcases, attracting a diverse crowd from across Kampala.

Speaking at the event, Kansai Plascon Uganda’s Managing Director, Santosh Gumte, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting cultural events that promote diversity and community engagement.

Now a major annual celebration in Uganda, the Holi Festival continues to grow, bringing together Ugandans, the Indian community, and other revelers in a shared expression of joy and harmony.
