The Uganda Embassy in Abu Dhabi has officially started disbursing funds from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to support Ugandan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This initiative is aimed at fostering the growth and development of Ugandan businesses in the UAE, enhancing their competitiveness in one of the world’s leading commercial hubs. The financial support is expected to boost Uganda’s exports to the UAE, promote skills development, and create job opportunities for Ugandan entrepreneurs.
With this program, Ugandan business owners in the UAE are set to gain a stronger foothold in the market, contributing to economic ties between the two nations.
