His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV of the Tooro Kingdom has embarked on an awe-inspiring gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The royal visit is part of his ambitious 25-year development agenda, aimed at uplifting Uganda’s tourism and conservation sectors by showcasing the country’s unmatched natural beauty.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in southwestern Uganda, is one of only three places in the world where mountain gorilla trekking is possible. By trekking through the dense rainforest and witnessing these majestic creatures up close, the King reinforces the importance of preserving Uganda’s rich biodiversity for future generations.

The visit has attracted attention across the country and beyond, highlighting Uganda’s status as a top ecotourism destination. The Uganda Wildlife Authority and Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities have applauded the King’s efforts to promote Uganda .
