The Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, today joined community barazas in Kwarikwar and Komuge, Bukedea District, as part of the ongoing nationwide exercise to verify registered NRM members.
The initiative, directed by President Yoweri Museveni, aims to strengthen the ruling party’s grassroots structures ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Speaker Among also urged NRM leaders to ensure the smooth execution of the verification exercise and encouraged members to actively participate in shaping the Party’s future. She is expected to take part in the village-level NRM elections scheduled for tomorrow.
