On Day 2 of the ongoing inspection of YY Coaches buses, the company has been directed to provide a complete list of its drivers to the Ministry of Works and Transport. Each entry must include an appointment letter and a copy of the driver’s badge.
The directive was issued by the State Minister for Transport, Hon. Fred Byamukama, and must be fulfilled within the 15-day suspension period.
This measure is part of broader efforts to ensure road safety and safeguard the lives of all road users before the company resumes operations on Uganda’s highways.
