Today, National Medical Stores (NMS) hosted the State House Health Monitoring Unit (HMU) led by Executive Director Dr. Warren Namara, at the invitation of NMS Management.
During the engagement held at the NMS Warehouse in Kajjansi, Dr. Namara commended NMS for its vital contribution to the delivery of medicines and medical supplies across Uganda, noting the importance of accountability, and efficiency in the health supply chain.
The visit provided an opportunity for both teams to discuss areas of collaboration in strengthening oversight, curbing pilferage, and ensuring that medicines reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely manner.
This engagement is part of NMS’ continued stakeholder partnership efforts to enhance health service delivery.
