The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries wishes to update coffee farmers, stakeholders, and the public on the current status of the coffee sector. In June 2025, the Ministry highlighted the challenges affecting prices and assured the nation of ongoing efforts to stabilize the market. We are pleased to report that prices have now rebounded as earlier projected, reflecting the resilience of our farmers and the confidence of international buyers in Uganda’s coffee. This progress strengthens our commitment to safeguarding the sector and supporting all actors in the value chain.
