Centenary Group Unveils Mbale Regional Hub, Pledges Greater Access to Financial Services

Centenary Group has launched the Centenary Group House – Mbale, a new regional hub intended to expand access to financial and digital services for communities in Eastern Uganda. The modern facility will serve as the new home of Centenary Bank’s Mbale Branch and a strategic business center supporting the wider Elgon region.

Speaking ahead of the grand unveiling, Prof. John Ddumba-Ssentamu, Group Chairman of Centenary Group, said the project represents more than a structural milestone. He noted that the new regional hub reflects a long-term vision to bring opportunity, innovation, and growth closer to the people of Eastern Uganda, while demonstrating Centenary’s commitment to Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity, and Innovation.

Mr. Fabian Kasi, Managing Director of Centenary Bank, described the development as a landmark achievement that will allow the bank to deliver inclusive and sustainable financial solutions to individuals, businesses, and community groups in the region. He emphasized that the new home of Centenary Bank Mbale Branch symbolizes progress and a strengthened commitment to transforming lives through accessible financial services.

“This new home stands as a testament to our enduring commitment to serve you better every day. With God’s blessings, we believe it will transform the economic livelihoods of the people of Mbale and Uganda at large,”Mr. Kasi said.

The grand unveiling will be officiated by His Grace Dr. Emmanuel Obbo, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Tororo.

Centenary Group says the new hub is expected to catalyze socio-economic growth by supporting enterprise development, improving access to financial products, and fostering innovation that benefits the region for generations to come.
