The Uganda Embassy in Havana has officially commenced its participation in the 41st Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2025), taking place from 24th to 29th November 2025 at Expocuba, Rancho Boyeros. FIHAV remains Cuba’s premier multi-sectoral trade exhibition, bringing together public and private enterprises, diplomatic missions, and foreign entities from over 50 countries.
Uganda’s participation this year is driven by the Embassy’s commitment to promoting Uganda as a premier tourism and investment destination. Through its exhibition, the Embassy aims to attract potential investors, strengthen bilateral trade relations, and create new market opportunities for Ugandan products.

The Uganda stand showcases a wide range of Ugandan agricultural products, traditional crafts as well as tourism and investment promotional materials.
The Embassy will be engaging with trade representatives, sector specialists, and potential business partners to explore market prospects for Ugandan exports and identify opportunities for collaboration in tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, and other growth sectors.

Despite ongoing economic challenges, including the impact of the blockade, FIHAV 2025 continues to be a crucial platform for Cuba. This year, Cuban public and private companies aredisplaying national export products and services with a strong focus on energy transition—especially renewable energy—artificial intelligence, and tourism development.
FIHAV 2025 has attracted participation from several countries, including Canada, China, Guyana, Indonesia, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, and Russia, among others—highlighting its importance as a hub for international trade and economic exchange.
