The Chief of Defence Forces of the UPDF, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, today met Germany’s Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Matthias Schauer, reaffirming the long-standing bilateral relations between Uganda and Germany.
The meeting, held at the Special Forces Command headquarters, focused on areas of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The discussions built on earlier engagements between Ambassador Schauer and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, underscoring the importance both nations attach to their partnership.
Ambassador Schauer praised Uganda’s role in regional affairs and reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to continued collaboration, with both sides agreeing to address any differences through diplomatic dialogue.
