Kampala Capital City Authority has denied allegations that it was involved in the recent demolition of some sections of St. Balikuddembe Market in Kampala. The authority clarified that it did not authorize or carry out the demolition works reported at the market.
KCCA’s Executive Director, Sharifah Buzeki, said the authority currently has no plans to redevelop or demolish the market, assuring traders and the public that any future developments concerning the facility would be formally communicated through the appropriate channels.
