Over ten women have expressed interest in replacing the late Cecilia Barbra Ogwal, who died last month. Different political parties have started preparing their strategies to reclaim the seat, while the FDC has resolved that the daughter of the late takes over her mother’s leadership mantle. The position for Dokolo District Woman MP was declared vacant following the demise of Cecilia Ogwal. On Monday ,12th February 2024, the Electoral Commission issued a roadmap setting March 21st 2024 as the date to fill the vacant position.
