Hon. Francis Mwebesa Advocates Collaboration to Address Africa’s Key Challenges

Hon. Francis Mwebesa, Uganda’s Minister of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, has called for enhanced collaboration among ministries, partners, and agencies to address pressing challenges impacting Africa.

In his remarks, he emphasized the urgent need to tackle food safety and quality, combat climate change, and drive manufacturing and industrialization. These priorities, he believes, are essential for building a healthier and more resilient population while fostering the growth of local industries.

Hon. Mwebesa stressed the importance of establishing a coordinated service system to ensure success, urging stakeholders to harness partnerships and innovation.
