The Orthodox Church of Uganda is preparing to host the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria, His Beatitude Theodoros II, in Uganda from February 18 to 21.
The Archbishop of the Orthodox Church in Uganda, Jeronymos Muzeeyi, told journalists that believers warmly welcome this historic visit by the Holy Father.
During his visit, the Pope will tour Sts. George and Andrew in Lwemiyaga, Ssembabule, St. Catherine Parish in Acholi Nyeke, and St. Nicholas in Gulu.
