The NRM faction in the Kawempe North by-elections is energized by the overwhelming backing and enthusiasm from voters as they push forward in their bid to secure the vacant parliamentary seat.
Nambi Faridah, the party’s flag bearer, expressed confidence in being a fresh symbol of hope for the people of Kawempe as she sought their support on the fourth day of her campaign.
“I enter this election as a devoted member of the ruling party, fully prepared to collaborate with government institutions to deliver services to my people. It is unfortunate that your Member of Parliament passed away, but this by-election should be seen as an opportunity to elect leadership that works hand in hand with the government,” Nambi stated.
She further remarked, “For 25 years, opposition representation in Parliament has not brought significant progress, so I urge residents to take a different path. That is my message to you.”
Nambi and her campaign team moved through the neighborhoods of Kanyanya-Komamboga, making stops to engage with voters in market stalls, homes, streets, and shops, ensuring they reached every corner.
Today Wednesday, the NRM team will shift their campaign efforts to Mpererwe wards for further voter engagement.
