The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has raised concerns over the recently concluded Kawempe North by-election.
In a press conference held in Kampala, FDC President Patrick Oboi Amuriat called on the Electoral Commission to account for the conduct of the by-election.
This comes after the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party decided to petition the results in court following the announcement of National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Elias Nalukoola as the winner.
However, in an exclusive interview, the Minister for ICT & National Guidance, Chris Baryomunsi, defended the Electoral Commission against allegations of mishandling the elections.
