ODPP Rolls out Digital Case Management System to Improve Prosecutions

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is advancing the rollout of a digital case management system aimed at improving the handling of cases and coordination across the institution.

The system is expected to streamline workflows, strengthen accountability and support faster processing of cases.

The rollout is being implemented in phases as systems are aligned and staff prepared to work with the new tools.

At a high-level engagement held on April 8, Director of Public Prosecutions Lino Anguzu, ICT Permanent Secretary Aminah Zawedde, ODPP Permanent Secretary Agnes Kainza Nzogi and other officials reviewed progress and next steps.

Officials said the transition requires continued training and support to ensure staff can effectively use the system.

The ODPP says the reforms are intended to improve service delivery and build a more responsive prosecution process.
