Her Excellency Dorothy Samali Hyuha the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to Australia held a meeting with the Assistant Secretary for Africa Branch at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade( DFAT), Ms. Alison Chartres (2nd Right). The two discussed ways of strengthening further the existing bilateral relations between Uganda and Australia, especially in the areas of Tourism, Trade, and Investment promotion, Foreign direct investment by Australian entities, increasing Australian scholarships to Uganda, tackling climate change and its devastating effects, boosting cooperation at a multilateral level, combating international terrorism and enhancing people-to-people collaboration plus empowering the Girl Child.
