President Yoweri has joined the rest of Ugandans in condoling with the Catholic Community over the loss of Rt Rev Albert Edward Baharagate. The former Bishop of Hoima Catholic Diocese passed on at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala on 5th April 2023. In a message delivered by the Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja, President Museveni said Bishop Baharagate has been a great religious leader who used his position to promote peace, unity and development in the country.
