The Buganda Kingdom advised government to allocate funds in the budget for Buganda Kingdom to enable maintains Kasubi tombs since it was removed from the endangered world’s heritage sites. This remark was made by the Buganda Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga before Lukiiko members the reading of and passes of Buganda budget for the year 2023/24.
The minister for finance in Buganda Kingdom Robert Wagwa read the budget of over 209 billion and Lukiiko members agreed to pass it.
