The Link Bus driver with registration number UBG 188P, identified as Andrew Jemba, 43 years old, seen in a viral video using his phone while driving along Kampala – Fort Portal road, has been intercepted and arrested at Kyegegwa Police Station on November 1, 2023, around 11 am.
The driver has been charged under Regulation 3(a) & 4 of Traffic and Road Safety (Restriction of Use of Mobile Telephone) Regulations, 2004.
