Uganda’s Prime Minister Attends 10th Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development in Addis Ababa

The Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah, is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to participate in the 10th session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development.

Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport last evening, the Premier was received by Uganda’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ms. Rebecca Otengo.

The forum will run from 23rd to 25th April 2024 alongside a regional preparatory workshop for African voluntary national and local reviews.

Organized by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank, and various entities in the United Nations system, the tenth session of the Regional Forum is conducted under the theme “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Agenda 2063 and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions.”

It brings together Presidents, Heads of State and Government, ministers, and other high-level policymakers and experts from governments, intergovernmental organizations, the private sector, civil society organizations, major groups, and international development partners.
