The Minister for Local Government, Balaam Barugahara, has called for stronger accountability in the management of conditional grants.
He made the call while opening the FY 2027/28 Programme Conditional Grants Negotiations in Kampala, where he warned that corruption and misuse of public funds undermine service delivery at the local government level.
