Gomba Lions have booked their place in the 2026 Masaza Cup final after seeing off Butambala in the semi-finals.
The five-time champions had already done much of the work in the first leg, beating Butambala 2–0 courtesy of a Meddie Kasule brace.
That result gave Gomba a two-goal cushion heading into the return leg, which they successfully defended to seal another appearance in the Masaza Cup final.
Gomba will now wait for the winner between Kyaggwe and Bugerere, who are battling for the second place in the final.
The Masaza Cup final will be played on October 31 at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium, Wankulukuku.
