Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is planning to replace the roofs of all schools currently using asbestos with iron sheets, starting with Makerere College School, in an effort to safeguard the health of students.
This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Health’s directive to replace asbestos roofing due to its potential health hazards, including the risk of cancer among learners.
