Government to build 72-million-liter fuel storage to avoid further skyrocketing fuel prices in future

Government has revealed a section of strategies to maintain supply of fuel and other petroleum products in Uganda including construction of storage facilities of 72-million-liter capacity.

In a statement presented to Parliament by Minister of State for Minerals Peter Lokeris, government is cognizant of the forthcoming elections in Kenya and has plans for any disruptions by the later. Parliament finds Minister Lokeri’s statement wanting and referred the matter to the committee of Energy and Natural resources to further address the fuel concerns
