PREPARATIONS TO MARTYR’S DAY – EASTERN CLUSTER CALLS FOR MORE SUPPORT

The 1st deputy prime also minister for East Africa Affairs Rebecca Kadaga has urged to the Anglican Dioceses along the Eastern route to organize special pitch camps for the Christian pilgrims while on their way to Namugongo. While fundraising at the dinner towards this year’s celebrations, Kadaga expressed the need for more resources to make the function successful. This year’s martyr’s day celebrations are headed by the Anglican Eastern cluster. The cluster is calling for Christians to fundraise towards preparation of the function The patron of the cluster in this preparation Rebecca Kadaga has mobilized Eastern Dioceses to organize for the moving pilgrims MTN Uganda has committed full support during this year’s celebrations with cash of 10 million shillings and provision of refreshments to the moving pilgrims. The team managed 73 million shillings during the dinner and the patron appealed to the Christians and other well-wishers to support the cause.
