The Local Police at Natete recorded a sorrowful occurrence of homicide by gunfire that took place yesterday at around 6:00 pm in Kikandwa Zone, Lungujja Parish, Lubaga Division. The incident involved Mr. Daniel Bbosa, the esteemed leader of Ndiga clan and manager of Transa Electrical. Mr. Bbosa was fatally shot by unidentified perpetrators as he approached his dwelling.
The attackers, riding on a motorbike, opened fire at Mr. Bbosa’s car, with license plate number UAH 637X, resulting in his immediate demise. During the vicious act, a vigilant resident courageously intervened, toppling the assailants’ motorcycle and raising the alarm within the community. Swiftly, locals mobilized, leading to a confrontation with the attackers. Vigilante justice followed, leading to the demise of one attacker at the scene, while the other remains in critical condition. The motive behind this ruthless act remains unclear, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
Furthermore, the Law Enforcement has retrieved the firearm allegedly used in the homicide, along with the motorbike bearing registration number UEX 754E, used by the perpetrators during the assault. These discoveries will be pivotal in our ongoing inquiry.
