The police have officially disclosed that seven suspects, including the hospitalized Lujja Noah, who is currently under guard, and Milly Naluwenda of Kisekwa Court, are now in custody for their alleged involvement in the tragic murder of businessman and clan leader Eng. Daniel Bbosa. The incident occurred on February 25, 2024, around 6 pm in Lungujja Parish as Bbosa was heading home to Kikandwa zone. This development follows a collaborative effort between the Joint Crime Intelligence/CID task teams and the KMP territorial team.
Furthermore, there are five additional suspects whose identities are being withheld pending legal guidance from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). These individuals are believed to have played a role in the murder plot targeting the victim. They, along with other accomplices who remain at large, are also suspected to be involved in the killings of Serunkuuma Enock and Lujja Noah.
The police have assured the family and loved ones of the deceased that all efforts are being made to bring the remaining suspects to justice. A detailed report outlining the planning, acquisition of weapons, hiring of assailants, and execution of the murder will be provided in due course.
In a separate development, Eng. Daniel Bbosa was laid to rest at the Ndiga Clan burial grounds in Mbale village, Mpigi Town Council, on March 3, 2024, around 1 pm. The burial ceremony was effectively overseen by our territorial teams in the Katonga region.
