Former Miss Uganda UK 2023–2025, Faith Rusoke, has returned to her hometown of Fort Portal with a mission to create lasting change through her community initiative, ‘Faithful Impact’.
The project has transformed the lives of students at Buhemba Senior Secondary School by donating sewing machines and establishing a tailoring training centre aimed at equipping learners with practical vocational skills.
Speaking about the initiative, Faith explained that the name ‘Faithful Impact’ reflects her commitment to leaving a positive legacy in the communities she serves.
“I want these students to have something valuable that will remain with them for life. No one can take a skill away from you,” she said.

The three-day project involved students, teachers, and volunteers working together to renovate and prepare the tailoring room through painting and refurbishment.
In addition to the tailoring equipment, ‘Faithful Impact’ donated football and netball kits to support sports development at the school.
The project culminated in the official unveiling of the tailoring centre, attended by Mwenge Central MP Kasukali Methuselah at which students proudly assembled the donated sewing machines themselves and thus demonstrating enthusiasm and ownership of the initiative.
Through ‘Faithful Impact’, the proprietor hopes to empower young people with practical skills that can create income-generating opportunities, foster independence, and build brighter futures.
