Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Alex Kakooza has provided an update on government interventions in different parts of the country.
Kakooza says the food relief distribution exercise in Karamoja has been successfully concluded.
He also says the ongoing cattle restocking programme in the Acholi, Lango and Teso sub-regions is progressing well.
Kakooza further addressed the public on the expected El Niño rains between September and December.
He urged the public to pay attention to early warning messages and take the necessary precautions to stay safe during the anticipated rainy season.
