Fame Mukisa Lands Major Media Sponsorship Deal as Fame Events NL takes Center Stage in Amsterdam

Ugandan entertainment promoter and events organizer Fame Mukisa has secured a major partnership deal with Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, marking a significant milestone in his continued efforts to promote Ugandan music and culture across Europe.

The deal follows a series of successful events organized by Mukisa in Amsterdam, where he has built a strong reputation for bridging the gap between home-grown artists and diaspora audiences. Under this new arrangement, the state broadcaster will step in as the official media sponsor for Fame Mukisa’s upcoming projects, starting with a flagship show this winter.

This partnership brings extensive publicity and broadcast support to amplify event visibility both across the Netherlands and back home in Uganda. Designed as an ongoing collaboration, the arrangement links national broadcast resources directly with cultural initiatives organized within the European diaspora.

The inaugural event under this partnership, KIKADDE XTRA, is scheduled to take place on December 5th in Amsterdam.

Designed as a celebration of Uganda’s rich musical roots, the concept focuses on bringing generations of music lovers together. Rather than a one-off performance, organisers plan to turn the show into an annual tradition held during the first week of December, dedicated primarily to celebrating classic performers and preserving cultural nostalgia for audiences abroad.

To bridge different eras of entertainment, the December lineup features two major headliners:

 * Mariam Ndagire: A celebrated cultural icon, actress, and singer representing the classic era of theatre and music whose work shaped the modern industry.

 * John Blaq: A high-charting contemporary artist representing the new generation of talent with strong crossover appeal among younger listeners.

For Fame Mukisa, this milestone validates years of grassroots event production in Amsterdam. His broader ambition remains centered on honoring classic heritage while introducing timeless sounds to younger diaspora youth, ultimately establishing Amsterdam as a primary festive destination for Ugandan entertainment across the European continent.
