The Uganda Police Force has conducted a leadership handover involving several senior officers within its Human Resource Directorate.
The ceremony, held at Police Headquarters in Naguru on Monday, was presided over by the Director of Human Resource Administration, AIGP Jessy Kamunanwire.
KAMUNANWIRE commended the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and urged them to maintain the good image of the Human Resource Directorate as they take up their new assignments.
She welcomed the incoming officers and encouraged them to work as a team, consult their colleagues when faced with challenges and ensure that staff provide them with the necessary support.
During the ceremony, ACP Gumisiriza Amos handed over the office of CP Barracks Administration to ACP Hiriga Dauda, while ACP Nakirayi Grace handed over her position as Commandant of Other Barracks to SSP Wagubi Herbert.
SSP Otede Ben also handed over as Commandant of Nsambya Barracks to SSP Kawalya James.
Meanwhile, SP Semata Robert took over as Commandant of Jinja Barracks, while SP Aseku Rose assumed the position of Officer in Charge of Ntinda/Naguru Barracks.
Senior officers from the Human Resource Directorate witnessed the handover ceremony.
