In a strategic move to strengthen economic and commercial diplomacy, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), led by Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs (PS/FA) Vincent Bagiire, alongside Heads of Ugandan Missions in Beijing, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and representatives from Dar-Es-Salaam, are gearing up for a transformative 4-day field visit. Hosted by the Petroleum Authority Uganda, the delegation will delve into the heart of Uganda’s oil and gas areas in the Albertine Graben.
Under the MoFA’s visionary framework, four priority areas have been identified, including agro-processing, tourism, mineral development, and science and technology transfer.
